Taxi Personal Accident
These days, driving a taxi for a living can be a dangerous occupation. An accident can be a costly occurrence that could have a serious effect on your livelihood.
Our Taxi Personal Accident policy covers reimbursement of emergency treatment costs and/or payment of financial benefits in the event of a claim for personal injury or disablement as a result of a road accident whilst driving your motor vehicle.

- Permanent Total Loss of Hearing: (a) In One Ear - £3,750 (b) In Both Ears - £15,000
- Permanent Total Disablement (other than loss of sight of one or both eyes Or loss of limb(s), or loss of Speech and Hearing in one or both ears) - £15,000
- Hospital Daily Benefit: If the Insured Person requires in-patient treatment, the Company will pay £100 per day for each completed 24 hour period of their stay in hospital, up to a maximum Sum Insured of £3,000. This section excludes the first 24 hours of stay.
- Emergency Dental Expenses: The Company shall pay upto £250 for Emergency Dental treatment to natural teeth. This excludes the first £25.00 of each and every claim. Treatment must be received within 7 days of the accident occurring.
- Personal Effects: If the Insured Person suffers damage to clothing and/or personal effects, the Company will pay up to a limit of £150 for such damage to clothing and/or personal effects, excluding the first £25.00 of each and every claim.
- Stress Counselling: The Company shall pay for up to 5 sessions of Stress Counselling with a qualified Counsellor following a claim under Items 2-7 of the Schedule of Benefits in the policy document.
