Back to Invoice (BTI) will pay you the difference between your comprehensive insurers write-off valuation and the original invoice price you paid for their vehicle in the event of your vehicle being written off in by accident, fire or theft. 

Our BTI Gap Insurance policies cover the vehicle for 3 years from the purchase date of the vehicle. Various benefits are available ranging from £5,000 to £20,000 depending on the value of your vehicle.

You must purchase BTI Gap Insurance within 6 months of the vehicle purchase date.

• Vehicle Cost £7500; Insurance settlement after write off £4600; BTI Gap benefit £2900
• Vehicle Cost £15000; Insurance settlement after write off £9500; BTI Gap benefit £5500

Eligibility Criteria:

• The vehicle must be less than 5 years old and registered in the UK.
• The vehicle must be a car or a light van under 3.5t GVW.
• The Insured must hold a current driving licence
• The vehicle must be covered by a UK comprehensive motor insurance policy.
• The vehicle is not an emergency vehicle, taxi, bus, truck, heavy goods vehicle, motorcycle or invalid carrier.
• Your vehicle must not be on Contract Hire or Leased (although BTI Gap Incurance is available whether you have paid cash or financed your vehicle).
• Your vehicle must not be manufactured by Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Lotus, Maserati, Rolls Royce, TVR or any American make of vehicle unless manufactured as a right hand drive and purchased from an authorised UK distributor and not imported directly.
